We are currently seeking a highly motivated and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic weekend team in Minneapolis. As the face of The Grand Minneapolis, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional.
In this role, you will be responsible for the front-line operations of our hotel, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries with grace, and maintaining the high standards our brand is known for. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones and responding to email inquiries.
- Handle guest requests efficiently, from room service to local transportation arrangements.
- Process payments accurately and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Maintain a pristine lobby area and ensure the front desk is organized and fully stocked.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Assist in security checks and manage key card access protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
