Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence, responding to inquiries with a professional and welcoming tone.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure a 5-star experience and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Process payments securely and manage all financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and facilities meet our high standards.
- Stay updated on local Jacksonville attractions, events, and restaurant recommendations to assist guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
