Responsibilities
- Perform front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls and manage correspondence efficiently, ensuring no guest inquiry goes unanswered.
- Assist guests with check-in procedures, room keys, and local area information to enhance their stay experience.
- Process payments and maintain accurate daily financial records and credit reports.
- Monitor lobby cleanliness and ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) or willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
