Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately, verifying identification and payment methods.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a professional and empathetic attitude.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using our property management system (PMS).
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate daily cash and credit reports.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests and staff.
- Assist with concierge services, including recommendations for local dining and attractions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and hotel reservation software.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage.
