Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails with a professional and courteous tone, managing reservations and inquiries.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and any special requests to ensure a memorable stay.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately using the hotel property management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to promptly address guest needs and requests.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel amenities, events, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when assisting with luggage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to provide top-notch customer service.
