Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations and ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Handle cash deposits, credit card transactions, and night audit procedures accurately.
- Enforce hotel policies and safety/security protocols.
- Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve guest issues promptly.
- Assist in scheduling and timekeeping for the front office team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk or guest services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, OpenTable).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
