Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes and VIP guest handling
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Resolve guest complaints and implement service recovery protocols
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for optimal occupancy
- Analyze financial metrics including revenue per available room (RevPAR)
- Develop and implement front desk procedures to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with sales and event teams for seamless group arrivals
Qualifications
- 5+ years hotel front office experience with 2+ years in management
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Advanced knowledge of PMS systems (Opera, Opera Cloud preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid California Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications
- Strong analytical skills for revenue management and budgeting
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish highly valued
