Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations and ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes
- Train and mentor front desk agents on service standards and hotel systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with professionalism
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for optimal availability
- Implement revenue management strategies for room bookings and upselling
- Collaborate with departments (Reservations, Concierge, Housekeeping) for operational excellence
- Prepare daily reports and analyze performance metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years in hotel front office management with luxury brand experience
- Proficiency in Opera or PMS systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid New York State Food Handler's Certificate
- Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of NYC tourism landscape and attractions
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
