Your Mission:
You will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process while providing personalized local recommendations to enhance their stay. You are the face of our brand, and your energy sets the tone for the entire guest journey.
Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our property management system (PMS).
- Concierge Services: Provide exceptional local knowledge of New Orleans, assisting with restaurant reservations, transportation, and tour bookings.
- Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism, resolving inquiries and complaints to ensure high guest satisfaction scores.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the aesthetic and organization of the front desk and lobby area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and handle cash handling procedures with strict accuracy.
- Crisis Management: Assist in ensuring the safety and security of guests and property, responding promptly to any emergencies or incidents.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written English skills; proficiency in a second language is a strong plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with computers, POS systems, and property management software.
- Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance and a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings to support hotel operations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
