Responsibilities
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of guest rooms, suites, and public areas daily
- Perform detailed deep cleaning tasks including carpet care, upholstery sanitation, and window washing
- Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies for assigned floors
- Execute preventative maintenance checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental sustainability standards
- Coordinate closely with front desk and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Train new housekeeping staff on hotel procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional housekeeping or hospitality experience
- Valid New York State hospitality certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail with ability to spot inconsistencies
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, holidays, and nights
- Basic English proficiency and exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of green cleaning practices and OSHA standards
