Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel operations during assigned shifts (day/night) with 24/7 accountability
- Lead and mentor 10-15 hourly staff members including front desk, housekeeping, and security teams
- Handle guest escalations and resolve service issues with exceptional professionalism
- Oversee check-in/check-out processes, room inventory, and maintenance coordination
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Process financial transactions, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily reports
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel management experience with shift work background
- Proven leadership skills in high-volume hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Maryland Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications
