Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk, housekeeping, and security operations during assigned shifts
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with exceptional service
- Oversee staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and training initiatives
- Monitor inventory, budgets, and operational KPIs for shift-specific areas
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and brand standards
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless guest experiences
- Implement emergency protocols and crisis management procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel management experience with overnight shift responsibility
- Proven leadership skills with staff supervision experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Valid Virginia hospitality management certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Virginia tourism regulations
