Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional service standards
- Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance during shift rotations
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly with professionalism
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
- Train and mentor team members on hospitality best practices and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate critical information to management
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) for smooth operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel or hospitality supervisory experience
- Proven ability to manage staff during high-pressure shifts and peak seasons
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and local regulations
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification (e.g., SERVSAFE)
