Responsibilities
- Clean Guest Rooms: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to strict hotel standards.
- Amenity Management: Restock linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms and corridors to maintain a welcoming appearance.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or damaged furniture, to the engineering department promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and spill cleanup.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and addressing requests.
- Efficiency: Manage time effectively to ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned within the designated timeframe.
- Laundry Duties: Sort, wash, fold, and press linens and towels as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every corner is pristine.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move furniture when necessary.
