Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards and safety regulations.
- Change bed linens and restock amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee) to ensure a fully stocked and inviting room.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, etc.) and document them for the maintenance team.
- Ensure safety compliance by properly storing hazardous chemicals and following OSHA guidelines.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (physical stamina required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
