Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, suites, and common areas to exceed industry standards
- Manage inventory of linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies while maintaining par levels
- Operate commercial-grade equipment (floor buffers, extractors) safely and efficiently
- Address guest requests promptly and document maintenance issues for swift resolution
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and eco-friendly sustainability practices
- Collaborate with room attendants and supervisors to optimize workflow during shifts
- Execute detailed room turnaround procedures between guest departures and arrivals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional housekeeping experience in luxury/hotel settings
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift
- Valid work authorization and reliable transportation to varied Manhattan locations
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays (shift-based schedule)
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and EPA-approved cleaning protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to spot microscopic imperfections
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication with guests and team
