Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily housekeeping operations and ensure all areas of the property are clean, sanitized, and presentable.
- Lead, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain high performance standards and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify and rectify any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or damaged equipment to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and chemical handling procedures.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address room repairs promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries regarding amenities and room status with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in hospitality management is a plus.
