We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. As a Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our team, leading by example and ensuring our high standards of service are maintained across all departments during your shift.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring all standards are met.
- Staff Management: Schedule and supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide training on service excellence.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Shift Coordination: Manage shift handovers, ensure accurate logbooks are maintained, and coordinate with the General Manager.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct nightly inspections, and ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations.
- Revenue Management: Monitor occupancy rates and upsell services to maximize revenue during your shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospitality management or a supervisory role within a hotel setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Character: Professional demeanor, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for customer service.
