Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends with transformative potential
- Partner with product teams to align strategic initiatives with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and challenge conventional thinking
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technologies leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and driving innovation cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong executive communication with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment methodologies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
