Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, biocomputing) with commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitive intelligence for strategic positioning
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or sustainable AI
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible Innovation (preferred)
- Strong network with academic and industry innovators
