Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human augmentation trends
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for emerging challenges in climate resilience and digital sovereignty
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global futurist conferences
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight methodologies into R&D pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption curves
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Strong publication record in futurist journals or industry publications
- Experience facilitating executive workshops on long-term strategic planning
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
