- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario analyses for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-oriented innovation priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and global think tanks
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies using AI-driven analytics tools
- Represent the organization at premier future-focused conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of publishing influential trend reports or scenario studies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, weak signal detection)
- Proficiency in AI-powered foresight tools and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex future scenarios into executive narratives
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI trajectories)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation of foresight insights
