Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients anticipating 2026 market disruptions
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in autonomous systems
- Produce trend intelligence reports using predictive analytics and sentiment mining
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment between technical teams and C-suite visionaries
- Curate partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and other innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 8+ years in innovation strategy at top-tier tech/consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Google X)
- Published white papers on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, causal layered analysis
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to billion-dollar impact
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EPA)
- Fluency in strategic visualization tools (Miro, Lucidchart, Tableau)
