Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Futurescape' reports identifying 2026+ technology, social, and economic inflection points
- Design innovation roadmaps for enterprise clients integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams to stress-test business models against 5-year futures
- Establish cross-industry foresight coalitions to map emerging ethical frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Translate foresight insights into patentable intellectual property and product development pipelines
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' to cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D innovation, or futurist analysis with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and adoption curve modeling
- Published thought leadership on societal impact of emerging technologies (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press)
- Advanced certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) or related foresight methodology
- Experience designing and deploying early-warning systems for market disruptions
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in trend analysis platforms (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
