Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize emerging tech, societal shifts, and market disruptors to forecast 3-5 year industry trajectories
- Develop strategic frameworks that transform foresight into actionable business roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams, stress-testing business models against future uncertainties
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology integration
- Mentor cross-functional teams in applying futures-thinking to product development and market strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions or market shifts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and trend impact analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Finland Futures Research Centre)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures work or implemented strategic foresight projects
