InnovateFuture Inc. is a global pioneer in future-shaping technologies, with a portfolio spanning quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable systems. As our lead futurist, you'll influence our $2B innovation pipeline while mentoring a team of 15 futurists and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Scanning Reports identifying emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Lead Strategic Foresight Workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps with future market realities
- Architect Future-State Prototypes in emerging domains (e.g., quantum-AI hybrids, neuro-interfaces)
- Establish Global Innovation Partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D labs
- Drive Scenario Planning for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Deep knowledge of converging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation funding from government/private sources
- Published futurist research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
