Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and social trends to forecast disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Design and implement 'Future Labs' - cross-functional teams prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight into development lifecycles
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities shaping our industry
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Measure and communicate the ROI of strategic foresight initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
- Track record of launching successful innovation initiatives in corporate environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published thought leadership
