Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for innovation pipelines aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and disruption preparedness
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D priorities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints for prototype development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in scenario planning, system dynamics modeling, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published futures research or strategic innovation projects
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation ecosystems
