- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies shaping 2026+ markets
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and drive data-backed decision-making
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem (startups, academia, research labs)
- Lead 3-5 year technology forecasting and market positioning initiatives
- Mentor innovation teams in emerging methodologies (e.g., speculative design, futures thinking)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products/services in emerging markets
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$5M
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future trends
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
