Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+
- Design and implement corporate foresight methodologies including scenario planning and backcasting
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market needs
- Develop quantitative/qualitative models to assess disruption risks and innovation ROI
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board with actionable implementation roadmaps
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author quarterly future-state reports influencing R&D priorities and market entry strategies
- Mentor innovation teams on future-focused product development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills with advanced analytical tools
- Experience leading innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation domains
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite boards and investors
