Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic vision roadmap using trend analysis, scenario planning, and foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications
- Produce high-impact strategic briefs and presentations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive market forces and technological paradigm shifts
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to future-proof product development and customer experience
- Partner with R&D to identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies for strategic integration
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, books, white papers)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
