Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026+ strategic vision through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify high-impact future opportunities and threats
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future-state roadmaps for product innovation
- Partner with R&D teams to evaluate emerging technologies and their strategic implications
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team
- Integrate future-thinking into quarterly business planning cycles
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into measurable business outcomes
- Deep expertise in AI, biotechnology, or sustainable tech futures
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformations
- Published thought leadership in future trends or strategic planning
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
