Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive foresight frameworks to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives, aligning R&D, product development, and market strategy with future scenarios
- Conduct high-impact scenario planning and risk assessments for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and boards through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry thought leaders
- Drive organizational culture of future-readiness through workshops, training programs, and thought leadership content
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators to anticipate systemic risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future concepts into executable strategies
- Experience developing and implementing organizational foresight programs
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work, keynote presentations, or thought leadership
