Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal shifts to forecast industry disruptions through 2026+
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion in exponential growth sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with cross-functional teams to prepare for alternative futures
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation conferences
- Partner with investment teams to identify and evaluate breakthrough startups and technologies
- Design and implement organizational foresight frameworks to embed future-readiness into company culture
- Monitor geopolitical and environmental trends to assess long-term business risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing future-oriented research or white papers
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience advising C-level executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation in Fortune 500 environments
