Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across biotech, quantum computing, and AI ethics to identify 2026 inflection points
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate-driven market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategic initiatives
- Author quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders and industry consortiums
- Architect innovation pipelines with 5-year roadmaps for emerging technology adoption
- Partner with R&D to validate future-focused concepts through rapid prototyping
- Represent the company at global foresight forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or systemic risks
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palisade DecisionTools)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks governing emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or MFMP)
