Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions for AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and disruption risk assessments for board-level decision-making
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to forecast emerging tech paradigms
- Design and facilitate immersive future-state workshops with global stakeholders
- Translate complex technological trajectories into actionable business roadmaps
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as a 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend mapping, scenario planning, and disruption analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-strategy initiatives
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite leadership
