Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Financial Management: Develop and execute annual budgets, manage P&L statements, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Guest Experience: Cultivate a culture of hospitality that prioritizes guest satisfaction, resolving complex issues with grace and efficiency.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and retention.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and execute local marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility in Columbus.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury or full-service hotel setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead diverse teams, motivate staff, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel software.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Columbus, OH market is a plus.
