Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and average daily rate (ADR).
- Manage the hotel's budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Foster a positive work culture by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to ensure high retention and service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, community stakeholders, and corporate partners.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with the utmost professionalism, resolving issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably at a luxury hotel.
- Proven experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) and property management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
