Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently to ensure a positive stay experience.
- Operations Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Reservations: Update and maintain guest reservation records in our Property Management System (PMS).
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest service.
- Security: Verify identification and ensure a safe environment for all guests and employees.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Experience: No prior hotel experience is necessary. We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Personal Attributes: A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; bilingual skills are highly preferred.
