Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and staff scheduling
- Train and mentor guest services team members on service standards
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining departments
- Implement upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation systems
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years in hotel front desk management
- Proven leadership in high-volume hospitality settings
- Proficiency in Opera or PMS systems
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills
- Virginia hospitality certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism landscape
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
