Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and staff scheduling during assigned shifts
- Manage check-in/check-out processes and resolve guest inquiries promptly
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for optimal service
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Train and mentor new team members on hospitality standards
- Implement emergency procedures and ensure safety compliance
- Conduct shift handovers with detailed operational notes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel or hospitality management experience
- Proven ability to supervise staff during peak shift hours
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS)
- Valid California driver's license (if required for property visits)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Must pass background check and drug screening
