Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system while ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests immediately and escalate complex issues to the management team to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Manage the front desk switchboard, emails, and voicemails to ensure no guest communication goes unanswered.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces to uphold our high aesthetic standards.
- Assist in processing daily deposits, night audits, and reconciling cash and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrival and maintained to our luxury standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact warmly with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, GuestCenter).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet the demands of the hotel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for local driving duties.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude are essential.
