Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently using our property management system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and reservations.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining strict financial controls.
- Address guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate complex problems to the management team to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival and remain in pristine condition.
- Stay informed about local events and transportation options to provide accurate recommendations to our visitors.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with using hotel software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
