Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when necessary
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid New York State hospitality certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation
- Fluency in English; Spanish/other languages a plus
