Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, handling reservations, room assignments, and payment processing with accuracy.
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage guest complaints and requests immediately, escalating complex issues to the management team as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and work station.
- Assist in coordinating special requests, such as room service, valet, or transportation.
- Stay updated on local events and hotel promotions to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
