Job Overview
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, and contribute to a positive atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accurate registration and payment processing.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous tone.
- Resolve guest complaints and inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Process reservations and update guest information in the property management system (PMS).
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest requests and maintenance issues.
- Assist with concierge services, including providing local recommendations and arranging transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 20 lbs).
