Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, managing reservations and room assignments using property management software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, answering questions regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and generate accurate invoices for all guest charges.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby spaces.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Assist in coordinating room service, housekeeping requests, and valet parking services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new property management systems quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting luggage or supplies.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
