Job Summary
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will lead a diverse team, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth while maintaining our reputation for luxury and service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and resolve complex guest issues promptly.
- Manage the hotel budget, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and renovations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven track record in budget management and financial analysis.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
