Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet our high-quality standards.
- Bed Making: Ensure all linens are fresh, ironed, and beds are made to perfection according to the hotel's luxury standards.
- Restocking: Monitor inventory levels of amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) and restock rooms and housekeeping carts as needed.
- Inspection: Conduct final inspections of rooms to ensure everything is in order before guest arrival.
- Laundry: Sort, wash, fold, and iron linens and uniforms according to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Communication: Report maintenance issues and lost and found items to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, but immediate hires are welcome for motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (typically 4-6 hours at a time).
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to follow detailed checklists.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
