Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage budgets, forecast expenses, and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to secure the best services and pricing for the hotel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in hotel management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a hotel or large facility.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk, or similar).
- Valid state food service handler's and alcohol server's permits if applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
